Tara Ansley is the founder of Wanderwell Entertainment & Co-Owner of the iconic horror & sci-fi brands FANGORIA, STARLOG, and GOREZONE. Tara is proud to be the first female owner in the 42+ year history. She is a Sundance Film Festival Alumni & a former SXSW Filmmaker in residence.
Ansley is a former production coordinator turned producer. Projects include; Tragedy Girls (Hulu), St. Agatha (Netflix), Summer Night (Netflix), Beast Beast (executive-produced by Alec non-fiction Baldwin + took the top prize at U.S. in Progress Paris + 2019 IFP Narrative Lab + Premiered At Sundance 2020 + Festival Favorite SXSW 2020), Rollers, and the upcoming feature My Dead Dad (screening February 5 at 6pm) Executive Produced By Declan Baldwin of Big Indie (Manchester By The Sea, Captain Fantastic). Volunteer & philanthropy work includes Sundance Institute, Safety For Sarah Campaign, and other nonprofit activities the majority surrounding female education and equality.
